Computer Geek / Network & Systems Administrator. I have been in computers my whole life and have dabbled in different programs and some web design. I like movies, music, dinners, cooking, hanging with friends, although I am more of a homebody. I like to debate my views with other people in politics, religion, equality, health care reform, and several other topics. I believe in equality for all, and not just some. We have the freedom of religion and the freedom from religion. No religion should dictate our laws, nor should we ever write any discrimination into the constitution. I also believe that just because the majority voted for something, doesn't mean it is the best thing for this country. Americans need to quit selling out their fellow man and demand that NAFTA be fixed now, or just needs to go away, period. America needs to take care of itself before its to late. We need health care reform now. We should never leave health & human services in the hands of the free market. We should never allow anyone to profit off the suffering of others.
There’s a lot to be afraid of today. Turn on the news and you know we are already in that dreadful place called hell.
There are terrorists, nukes, wars, diseases, and heaven forbid the potential for gays to marry. There are probably a million things out there that we could all be fearful of.
Yes, I would say some of these things concern me, but what I am most fearful may come to a surprise to you.
I am afraid of some of my fellow Americans.
I am afraid of those that would spread lies and propaganda to promote their own or someone else’s agenda.
I am afraid of those that would take away ones rights, thinking that they are securing their own.
But who really frightens me above all Americans, are those Americans using half-truths and fear to further divide an already divided country!
I do not actually “fear” , any one ,per say, I have an over whelming nervousness on what the heck is going on in the World and the Governments that tend to react in a counter productive fashion or that take the approach of all the crisis that occur in the World by reacting under false pretenses, $ and power, instead of acting out of compassion and morals. >:/
