Computer Geek / Network & Systems Administrator. I have been in computers my whole life and have dabbled in different programs and some web design. I like movies, music, dinners, cooking, hanging with friends, although I am more of a homebody. I like to debate my views with other people in politics, religion, equality, health care reform, and several other topics. I believe in equality for all, and not just some. We have the freedom of religion and the freedom from religion. No religion should dictate our laws, nor should we ever write any discrimination into the constitution. I also believe that just because the majority voted for something, doesn't mean it is the best thing for this country. Americans need to quit selling out their fellow man and demand that NAFTA be fixed now, or just needs to go away, period. America needs to take care of itself before its to late. We need health care reform now. We should never leave health & human services in the hands of the free market. We should never allow anyone to profit off the suffering of others.

I am unsure if the California Supreme Court knows this or not, but back on September 17th, 1787 our forefathers signed what we know today as The United States Constitution.  In this document were the words:

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

The part I want to focus on is “We the People of the United States”.  I do not see the words straight, religious, or worthy.  If any of these words existed the constitution would read “We the STRAIGHT People of the United States”, “We the RELIGIOUS People of the United States”, or “We the WORTHY People of the United States”.  Unless I am blind, and correct me if I am wrong, I do not see these words written any where on the constitution.

You would think the American people would of learned better to deny any one minority any rights based on ignorance.  We advanced when women fought for the right to vote.  We advanced when the white man gave the black man equal rights.  Yet we stumble when the gay couple wants the same rights as a straight couple.

When the American people allow one majority to take away the rights of a minority, that majority opens up the door for another majority to take away their rights.  If you think this is not possible, think again.  Hate always has a target, and its only time before hate takes its aim at you!
