Is the stance against gay marriage hypocritical?

I am so sick of hearing people state that allowing gays to marry will destroy the foundation of marriage.

First off, almost 50% of all marriages end in divorce. These marriages are currently between a man and a woman. So how do we come up with the myth that gays will destroy the foundation of marriage? If gays cannot marry, which they cannot in most states, how are they really destroying the foundation of marriage?

All I hear are the religious reasons why they cannot marry and one secular reason why gays cannot marry. The main secular reason is because 2 men cannot procreate. 2 women on the hand can procreate with artificial insemination. Now if we look at current medical technology, 2 men can procreate with a surrogate mother, which blows that theory to high hell.

Here are some frequently cited reasons for causing divorce:
Lack of commitment to the marriage
Lack of communication between spouses
Infidelity
Abandonment
Alcohol Addiction
Substance Abuse
Physical Abuse
Sexual Abuse
Emotional Abuse
Inability to manage or resolve conflict
Personality Differences or ‘irreconcilable differences’
Differences in personal and career goals
Financial problems
Different expectations about household tasks
Different expectations about having or rearing children
Interference from parents or in-laws
Lack of maturity
Intellectual Incompatibility
Sexual Incompatibility
Insistence of sticking to traditional roles and not allowing room for personal growth
Falling out of love
Religious conversion or religious beliefs
Cultural and lifestyle differences
Inability to deal with each other’s petty idiosyncrasies
Mental Instability or Mental Illness
Criminal behavior and incarceration for crime

So my questions are the following:

Should divorce be illegal? If people are to believe that marriage is a religious right, do you not state your oaths in front of God “Till death do us part”?

Should all artificial inseminations become illegal? This is not natural in anyway without our current medical technologies. If you believe in God and that God does not make mistakes, then maybe that woman is barren, or man is sterile for a reason.

Should we also force all marriages without children to be annulled?

Should all healthcare, welfare, and educational expenses be paid for by the parents and no longer through taxes to keep irresponsible parents from giving childbirth to children they cannot afford? Financial problems are a large reason marriages fail.

Are we not hypocritical to take that right away from a minority, when in fact, the majority has already destroyed the foundation of marriage?
