Just 233 years ago, a few men gathered to proclaim their independence from a tyranny that controlled the 13 colonies with an iron fist. These men and women risked their life to gain their freedom, their liberty, and their independence.
For the next 100 years the children of these men and women had a drive that took these small 13 colonies and made them into the greatest nation to ever exist in known history. We seen a drive within the people to not just better themselves but strive to better all mankind. When a home was needed, the community united and helped those individuals build that home, today, we just let him lose it to the bank.
Where has this drive gone? Where is our pride in our country and our fellow man?
If those men and women had any of the issues we faced today, they would of united and fought for the fairness of every American, and not just some.
Let me ask each and every one of you a few questions:
What is the difference between the corporate rule we see today and the British rule they seen then?
Would these people that fought to give us the independence, freedom, and liberty we all enjoy today or would they accept the abuses of the free market today?
