The reason why I say this is because when union workers are fighting for fair wages and many other things have you noticed where the union workers are picketing? If you look where they are picketing they are at the source of the problem.
So why do we see the Tea Baggers just on busy street corners? Is it because they are there just are there for show? Are you just trying to get on TV? Or are you there just because, well, status quo?
I think many people, including myself, would give you an ounce of credibility if you picketed at the source of the problem. Now I am not saying everyone at the protests are clueless, probably a good 90% of them are.
If you feel that illegal’s are the problem for health care costs, then whey the hell aren’t you protesting at your local emergency room? Heck, do you think that they would want to deal with protesters and illegal’s all in one day, or do you think your going to get there and –GASP- there might not be any illegal’s there?
If you feel that the trial lawyers are the problem for health care reform, why the hell are you not picketing the office parking lot of you local attorneys office or courthouse? If you really want to get the point across why are you not at the source of the problem?
Here is a little historical fact that may interest you. The Boston Tea Party was held at the SOURCE of the problem, in the bay. Do you remember anywhere in any history book of the protestors in Boston, well going to the local square and holding up signs? I don’t remember reading that, so if you want to exercise your American rights, I suggest you start exercising them at the source of the problems.
