Computer Geek / Network & Systems Administrator. I have been in computers my whole life and have dabbled in different programs and some web design. I like movies, music, dinners, cooking, hanging with friends, although I am more of a homebody. I like to debate my views with other people in politics, religion, equality, health care reform, and several other topics. I believe in equality for all, and not just some. We have the freedom of religion and the freedom from religion. No religion should dictate our laws, nor should we ever write any discrimination into the constitution. I also believe that just because the majority voted for something, doesn't mean it is the best thing for this country. Americans need to quit selling out their fellow man and demand that NAFTA be fixed now, or just needs to go away, period. America needs to take care of itself before its to late. We need health care reform now. We should never leave health & human services in the hands of the free market. We should never allow anyone to profit off the suffering of others.

And said, BROKE came I out of my mother’s womb, and BROKE shall I return thither: the BANK gave, and the BANK hath taken away; blessed be the name of the BANK. JOBless 1:21
There you go, the words right out of your cut throat capitalist bible. The bank giveth and the bank taketh away. You people begged for an unregulated free market and now you got it. Oh, but look what they do to your fellow man. Right before laws are to take effect to give consumers an option, the banks are raising interest rates so they can in essence TAKETH AWAY and force you into bankruptcy.
So which corporate god shall these people pray to get help? Shall they pray to the almighty Chase, or shall they bow and worship CitiBank almighty?

I have only had 1 in my life also, thought it was a waste of money. Used it for like 4 or 5 months, paid it off and cut if off.

I didn’t have as much of an understanding of our debt based economy as I do today but even then I didn’t like being in debt for buying necessities like a bus pass or groceries. God bless roommates.
Reply to DesireGOr raise your interest rates when you go to use it. Thankfully I don’t have any credit cards, but just watched a special regarding a bunch of people that had their rates raised to levels that may force them into bankruptcy. I think our credit laws suck royal donkey dick. Your damned if you do and damned if you don’t when it comes to the credit scoring.
Reply to TJUnless you want to really close them out, don’t pay off any credit cards at the end of the month. Leave a small balance, even a few dollars. If you pay down to $0.00, the bank may take the opportunity to close it out from under you.
