Where are our priorities?

OH MY GOD!!!!   Did you hear the news?  They are coming!!!


Who is coming?


The government!  They are coming to take away your guns!

 

WHAT?!?!?!?!


Yes, they are coming to take away your guns, so they say.  Don’t know who really is saying it, but everyone keeps repeating it.  Makes you wonder though, why do they want to take away your second amendment “The right to bear arms”.  Never know though, some small Indian tribe might come up and endanger your family.  Heaven forbid that local militia calls you to arms when the British are coming.  You must defend yourself from them too!


I will be damned if I am going to give up my 2nd amendment right to bear arms so I can just shoot people when they trespass on my property, or heaven forbid state that health care is not a right!





Wait, health care is not a right?  I would think that the richest industrialized nation would consider basic needs like health care would be a right, and not a luxury, but I guess holding a weapon that could kill someone is.  So I must ask.


Where are our priorities?

    We are all mixed up in the head. Americans? Can't live with them and can't live with'em. I am Proud to be an American, but man it is hard at times.

    LOL, I think that is many of our inlaws and close families. It is funny, don't have an abortion, but heaven forbid you take away that gun that allows me to kill you quickly, or at least put you in the hospital so you can rack up some major medical bills!

    you must know my in-laws!! lol! I hear this argument so much, and I get very frustrated by it. The same bible and gun clutching people that demand the government stay out of their lives and not interfere with their rights are same people who scream pro-life and force ideals of childbirth onto total strangers. Aren't abortion bans the same extreme as guns bans, any national or state ban in general is pure government control." Leave my guns alone but at the same time, I want to women to have NO choice" So hypocritical. I honestly think with UHC, as proven by other nations with UHC, the number of abortions in the nation would actually reduced. Its the kind of "certainty" that makes people feel comfortable about their futures.
