Unfortunately it is true. It happened at Green Acres Shopping Mall on Long Island, not far from where I grew up and lived for the first half of my life. It's basic premise is that the regulation that was promised by Obama and the Congress had the beginings of some oversight. But the Derivatives trading which to a large extent was responsible for bringing the economy and everyones savings to its knees was largely untouched. Here's the article.
