No Corporation Left Behind

While you all sit back and blindly follow your so-called “Republican Leaders”, let me remind you what your so-called republican leaders have done.

They have sold out your children’s education to the highest bidder and have raised your taxes to pay to cover the costs of tests that once cost pennies on the dollar for the teachers to create tests to test the students on curriculum they have recently learned, now cost you between $10.00 - $15.00 per student, per test to cover the cost of the exams brought to you by the free market.

The republicans so called conservative ways have not only put profits before your children’s education, they also put greed before Americas future of tomorrow.

If these people have their way, the air you breathe today, will be the air, you cannot afford to breathe tomorrow!

@Stephen, we appreciate you coming to this site but I must reply to your comment about the so called spam comments. There is no business model for allowing spam on this site. We receive thousands of spam comments daily, and unless you want to pay for better spam systems or go through each one day after day, please let us know, due to our work schedules, this is out of our hands.

Also please do not think that we delete any comment from an opposing side of a blog, feel free to join and both blog and comment. We will never block one persons freedom of speech or thoughts unless these thoughts preach hate or harm to any group or individual.

Thanks for replying about blogspam. (First, I assume you do not delete opposing viewpoints, and I would not mind if you did). On my blog, I delete blogspam *before* it gets published, assuming that deleting is worth my time because many people are probably like me, i.e they do not bother to add legitimate comments when the site is clogged with spam, suggesting that even the moderator doesn't read the comments. Deleting blogspam in chunks can be done quickly if you let them accumulate before they are posted. Besides, if you are annoyed that people diminish the value of your site for their own commercial gain, why let them profit by leaving their remarks?

The spam filter is catching the ones with links and we have been able to delete those when they come in. These others ones are baffling us. We are testing to see if one of the plug ins were hacked. Last December, the site was hacked and unsure if they are injecting the comments. Due to a busy work schedule right now I haven't had time to really sift through these comments and delete them one by one. We are hit with over 1000 per day

You have my sympathy, with that much blogspam to contend with. You know way more about all this than I do: your system asks commentors for their website, and I'm told that some systems prevent this, thus eliminating the value of sending blogspam unless the sender's url or product name is in the body of the comment. Anyway, good luck.

TJ, I think we will lose water before we lose air, but corporations always have surprises for us. Do you have a link for the accusation (made elsewhere, not here) that the Bush-era Department of Education mandated the use of certain curricular material whose companies were owned by Bush-era Department of Education officials? A second question: does a web site benefit from having obviously robotic, insincere, generic-praise "comments" in broken English, for sketchy web sites? I don't understand that business model.

Sorry for the delay in getting back, I am looking for my links I had for this site but I did lose quite a bit of stuff during the hack, and the hosting company's backup did not backup as well as we had hoped.

If I can find a link for this, I'll pass it along to you, TJ. It is such a primo example of Bush-era corruption hiding behind anti-government postures.

Thanks a lot for publishing this, I found it to be extremely useful, and it answered almost all of the questions I had.

Hmmm…very good to know, there were definitely a couple of things which I hadn’t thought of before.
