I agree with many that say, We have to take personal responsibilities, but… lets take the oil addiction of America:
Oil comes from the earth. Oil is a natural resource. Oil is not owned or made by a corporation….So wouldn’t it seem prudent that The People, not of just America, but the World should benefit off the corporation’s distribution of the oil?
They shouldn’t get the oil for free, should they?
Capitalism definitely at its best…
Stealing natural resources from the people then making them NEED THE NATURAL RESOURCE MORE AND MORE.
I know people, who knew people that in the late 1800′s and early 1900′s had many ways to make clean energy. IT WAS THE YEARS OF ENLIGHTENMENT AND DISCOVERY.
I live in MI and there were many boys who started working for GM/Ford/Chrysler here. Like I know the grandson of the guy who invented the blinker.
During these years these companies bought the patents of these inventors and either tossed them away or used them depending on if the invention harmed the oil companies profit. This was when Rockefeller was ‘KING’, Morgan Chase, and all these people stopped us from digging oil from beneath all of our feet. OHIO WAS A GREAT PLACE FOR OIL, ask Rockefeller it is how he became what he is; our foundation to our society of the U.S.
He is the one that has stopped our ‘green movement’ to a society not dependent on the product he sells. The core issue is that our government is infiltrated with these men who want our dependence.
We knew we were dependent on oil for many decades and many lives lost later we are even more addicted!
Why???
Because our Government is allowing the ‘Rockefeller cartel’ steal natural resources, sell it to us, and they have no care for anything of social need or people of this world. It is soulless!!
I would if I had been president back in the 70′s or sooner; start a mass transit for the country. Whenever we desperately saw that we were headed for a problem; the government should have put American’s to work FOR OUR SAFETY!
I also would have charged all companies a price for the use of natural resources to bring gain to their business. Natural resources are not free to us, why should it be free to the companies that mine or dig for them? I suggest if oil is sold on the market today there is a charge for that oil TO ALL OIL COMPANIES, COAL companies, GAS and WATER companies (and any I am forgetting here) should PAY to get the product they sell.
This money should be put to use by building up our societies in the world; FAIRLY!! The natural resources should pay for medical research and needs, educating anyone wanting an education, housing, and all those other ‘COMMUNIST things like taking ‘care of our old, garbage and poor’.
It is not communist or social it is ACTUALLY a type of capitalism that is fair and simple.
I own my own small company and I get nothing for free. These corporations need to dig to make money and billions at that; so if they want to make that money then they should pay for the product they need to make that money. It isn’t their oil. They did not pay for the oil they paid for digging it up. The oil is ours, because it came from OUR EARTH!!
