Funny to see all these people judging other people and preaching fire and brimstone on these blogs.  They range from the very old to the very young.  What’s rather interesting about these same people is how many will deny science and what many others state just because 1 book written over 4000 years ago states its wrong.

Now lets compare that mindset of religious belief to the mindset of the education of our children.  If your child went to school and brought home a text book published in 1960, would you not say that the book is outdated and we have learned much since then?  I would hope you would, but many here just don’t see it that way.  Nope that book is law and I will deny anything that proves it wrong and outdated.

What’s even more baffling about these people and their beliefs is how they choose to ignore almost every other law in that book but focus on one thing – homosexuality.

There I said it – HOMOSEXUALITY – HOW TABOO OF ME?!?!?!

OOOH – THE BOOGEYMAN OF REALITY!!!!!

Ok fine, you want to keep that mindset; lets focus on the other laws and answer these questions.

If the laws of this book are all written in stone for your mindset, how come you do not crucify men that go to church who have had testicular cancer?  You probably didn’t know it but did you know that same book prohibits anyone with broken testicles to come close to God.

You got it – that same God you think that hates homosexuals so much, hates people with broken testicles too.  Since I know you don’t know this I am listing it here for you:

For whatever man he is that has a blemish, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity, or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand, or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles; no man of the seed of Aaron the priest who has a blemish, shall come near to offer the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. Since he has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

First off, your all hypocrites to ignore this passage right here because not only do I see handicapped parking at churches, people wearing glasses that go to church, hell, I have seen people walk into churches with crutches, or go in the church in a wheelchair.  How dare you single out one group of people to make yourselves look better?  If this loving God is so worried about my testicles, what kind of God is he, REALLY????  Why do you not stone people who cheat on their spouses?  Why do you not stone unruly children and rid our selves of all the juvenile detention centers, and why do you not come here to Dearborn and kill all the Muslims because they are non-believers????  You got it, the book of Deuteronomy states to kill the people of neighboring villages if they don’t believe in what you believe in.

If any of you actually read Leviticus or any other book in the bible for that matter, and actually comprehended it, you would understand that these books make everyone a sinner and everyone unworthy to enter the temple of God.  The books were written to show the people they needed a messiah, not millions of little god wannabe’s going around and making other peoples lives miserable, especially those that were born different than you.  You would also think that if this were the most unholy of abominations, it would have been written in stone with the other 10 commandments, but no, these laws were written by man, for man.

One last note:  If you really believe God put you here 6000 years ago and skipped the whole evolution process, you would think he gave you a brain to learn and advance your mindset; not close it off indefinitely!

When you stand in front of your God, will you tell him you were a loving human being because you wanted to be, or because you had to be?

The Bible contains 6 admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love heterosexuals. It’s just that they need more supervision.

Funny to hear all the excuses about entitlement and lazy people lately, and it got me thinking about the current state our country is in.

I hear many people use the excuse that capitalism is the drive that makes a country thrive.  Its capitalism that starves out the lazy and feeds only those that work hard.   I don’t know about you, but I don’t need money to further myself.  I choose to further myself to be a better person with or without more money.  I chose the field I am in because I had a knack for it and I knew that talent could lead me to do great things.  It wasn’t that million-dollar paycheck that drove me; it was the thought process that I could do something great with my life.

With that said, if money was never invented, and people actually worked together in society like they are supposed to, do you think many people would still be lazy or do you think civilization would be far more advanced if there were never any road blocks to keep people from becoming who they can and are supposed to become?

After all the pathetic posts and comments I have seen on all these blogs and on the news  for the past few months, I have come to the conclusion that the only answer the right wing has to fix the unemployment is:

1)      Sick people should not get health care and should just die; it’s a waste of money, it was their fault they got sick anyways.

2)      People that have lost their job to downsizing or their jobs shipped overseas should starve.

3)      People that were caught up in the mortgage crisis thinking they were doing the right thing should stay outside and freeze.

4)      Spread lies about the automakers to destroy the remaining unions so they can continue to allow corporations to ship our jobs overseas.

5)      Scream socialism when you have no ground to stand on

6)      Repeat steps 1 through 5

OMFG – Do you people ever give it up?  I mean seriously, before you even start yapping and whining over this president taking his vacation, did you ever decide to FACT CHECK your arguments???

PROBABLY NOT!

It’s funny, you people are kicking, whining, and screaming about this vacation, but heaven forbid you people even opened up your sorry traps when your republican gods (who did no wrong LMFAO) went on vacation and went on vacation as much as they did.

HYPOCRITES

You wonder why our country is in the shape its in?  Take a look at the numbers, obviously, the ones you voted for were always “Out to lunch”, and heaven forbid any of you had to take over the mess this country is in, I am sure you would need a vacation too!!

This is from FACT CHECK

Q: Has President Obama taken more vacation time than his predecessors?

A:According to one count, Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush spent more time on “vacation” during their first year than President Obama did.Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton spent less time on “vacation.”

FULL ANSWER

President Obama has spent all or part of 26 days “on vacation” during his first year as president, according to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller.

Knoller, who has covered every president since Gerald Ford and is known for keeping detailed records on presidential travel, counts the following among President Obama’s “vacations” in 2009:

four-day holiday weekend in Chicago in February where the president played some basketball and treated First Lady Michelle Obama to a Valentine’s Day dinner date.

An eight-day stay with his family at a rented house on Martha’s Vineyard in August.

trip out west to the U.S. states of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona that combined both business and pleasure. The president held town hall meetings on health care during the trip. And he went fly fishing and took trips to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon with his wife and two daughters.

An 11-day stay in Hawaii where the president and his family celebrated Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Some of the president’s recent predecessors, however, have spent more days — either entirely or partially — away from the White House “on vacation” during their first year in office.

President Reagan, in 1981, spent all or part of 42 days away from the White House “on vacation” at his home in Santa Barbara, Calif, according to Knoller. President Reagan and his wife, Nancy, also spent three or four days around New Year’s Day each year in Palm Springs, Calif., at the home of philanthropist Walter Annenberg. (In 1993 the late Mr. Annenberg founded the nonpartisan Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania, which is FactCheck.org’s parent organization.)

President George W. Bush spent even more time away from the presidential mansion in the nation’s capital than Reagan. Of the 77 total “vacation” trips the former president made to his Texas ranch while in office, nine of them — all or part of 69 days — came during his first year as president in 2001, according to Knoller.

Bush’s father, President George H.W. Bush, spent less time “on vacation” during his first year than his son, but spent more days than President Obama. According to travel records provided to FactCheck.org by the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, the former president took six trips — spanning all or part of 40 days — to the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1989. The archivist at Bush’s presidential library told us she didn’t have a list of all vacations but did have the Kennebunkport visits.

But at least two recent presidents — by Knoller’s count — took less “vacation” time during their first year than President Obama — Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.

According to Knoller, Carter spent just 19 days “on vacation” in 1977. Most of that time, Knoller says, the former president spent at his home in Plains, Ga. President Clinton took all or part of 174 days of vacation during his eight years as president — most of that “vacation” time was during the summer, according to Knoller. But Knoller says Clinton only took 21 “vacation” days during his first year.

It’s worth mentioning that President Obama has also made 11 trips — all or part of 27 days — toCamp David, the presidential retreat in Frederick County, Md. Knoller, however, says he doesn’t count trips to Camp David as part of any presidents’ “vacation” time. But for the sake of comparison, President George W. Bush, made more trips to that country residence than Obama. According to Knoller, Bush made 25 trips — a total of 78 days — to Camp David in 2001.

But no matter how much time a president actually spends away from the official residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Knoller says that the commander in chief is never really off the clock. “I have long held the view that a US president is never really on vacation,” Knoller told FactCheck.org in an e-mail. “The job – and its awesome powers and responsibilities – is his wherever he is and whatever he’s doing.”

From CBSNews

George W. Bush is today making his final visit to Camp David as president.

He will likely miss the place: According to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, today’s trip marks Mr. Bush’s 149th visit to the presidential retreat. The planned three-day stay, during which the president is being joined by family and former and current aides, will bring his total time spent at Camp David to all or part of 487 days.

Yes, that’s 487 days. And Camp David is not even where the president has spent the most time when not at the White House: Knoller reports that Mr. Bush has made 77 visits to his ranch in Crawford during his presidency, and spent all or part of 490 days there.
