[bubblecast id=284763] For the past few years I have heard nothing but union bashing and stories of how these people have destroyed American labor. Many of you have repeatedly spoken nothing but lies and misinformation about the American Auto Workers. In my eyes, you have done nothing but help destroy an industry who has worked hard to supply almost every one of you a comfortable and safe car so you can get around. Today I will put a face on the ones you love to hate and show you these people bleed red like the rest of Americans, and I want you to look at their faces and think of them the next time you feel so inclined to help destroy the foundation of this country – AMERICAN LABOR. I dedicate this video to my grandfather who died on the line, and to my friends and family who are working on the line and are in the process of losing their jobs. To the rest of you, I hope you never have to go through the loss of your job because you were sold out by your fellow Americans. These jobs are going, and there is nothing to replace [...]

Many people think that Labor Day is just to symbolize the end of summer. Actually we celebrate for a more important reason and to remember the deaths of many who suffered during the strikes of the past fighting for fair wages and fair working conditions. Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American Workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well being for our country. The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883. In 1884 the first Monday in September was selected as the holiday, as originally proposed, and the Central Labor Union urged similar organizations in other cities to follow the example of New York and celebrate a "workingmen's holiday" on that date

I am actually quite amazed by the comments I have seen and read from many different blogs you can find readily on the internet. Lets go back in time a few months. I heard so many of you scream that American auto workers were making $70.00 an hour, which we all know was a lie, yet you kept screaming foul. In reality, these people were making less then $30.00 an hour, and you people had a fit knowing that someone else might be making a meager living supporting his or her spouse and children. Then news breaks that many of our insurance company CEO’s were making millions while the companies they run are denying much needed health care to your fellow citizens, and running their companies into the ground. I cannot believe how many of you are so quick to sell out your fellow man for trying to earn a living, yet you stand and defend these outrageous multi million dollar salaries these gluttonous corporate heads make when they are economically destroying both you and your neighbors. This is hypocrisy at its greatest. So the next time you decide that your fellow man isn’t worth the $30.00 per hour [...]

Yahoo real estate is now listing Detroit as the worst place to purchase a home. Yes even in the land of $1000 homes, it’s the worst place to buy. What happened to our wealth, investments and our livelihood? What is the reason? The automotive industry of course! What baffles me is how people turn a blind eye when the sales reports come out and when the quality reports come out. We still believe that our Big 3 is falling behind with our foreign competitors. We listen to our senators who are being paid off by our foreign competitors, and we pretend that we are the only nation who has had to help their automotive industry. Have we forgotten who helped build this nation? Have we forgotten our fellow American all in the name of saving a buck? If it weren’t for our unions, would any of us had a decent paying job? Who fought for safe working conditions? Who fought for a 40-hour work week so we could spend time with our families? Who fought for fare wages so we could afford to feed our families? Our unions, as some say, may be outdated, but in reality, and in times [...]

I love waking up and seeing such idiotic statements being made about the big 3. I feel the people that are against American Labor are against the American people, and if your against the American people, you do not deserve this country. We cannot be just a service industry and be expected to compete in a global market. Without labor, we do not have jobs. Without jobs, we do not have production. Without production, we have no economy. Below is a letter from a Pittsburgh dealer to an editor of a United States newspaper. Quite humbling, yet so true. We commonly listen to those who are loudest and those who only know the half truth. So if you must continue to help sell out your fellow American to cheap foreign slave labor - go ahead, your time will come, or should I say, your job will go. Editor: As I watch the coverage of the fate of the U.S. auto industry, one alarming and frustrating fact hits me right between the eyes
