The more I travel through the once magnificent city called Detroit, the more I realize it is the city that people would rather forget.
One thing I cannot forget are the people that are still there today, living in this warzone called poverty.
Today, the news reported that unemployment is at 29% in the City of Detroit.
In a city where multitudes flocked so they could find a decent job and make an earnest living, if these buildings could talk, do you think they would ask “Remember Me”?
Is America going to follow suit and is the worst yet to come?
I just need to ask every one of you fighting against health care reform.
Why do you have all the answers now? Where were you fighting for all these so called wonderful ideas to give your fellow American a level playing field a year ago? Two years ago? Three years ago?
Wait, I know where you were, you were sitting there telling those that were trying to tell the country something is wrong that we were the fools to mess with the free market and that it will eventually work its self out. We were ignored, we were shunned, and we were called lazy. So why should I listen to you now? Why is it you feel you are entitled to tell us how we should be treated any more?
So now that Obama was voted in, and with many Americans screaming for health care reform, I just need to know – WHY NOW?

After seeing so many pie charts and bar charts, I set out to do my own study of what the problem is with the current health care crisis.
This is what I have come up with:
Careless: 43.57% of Americans just don’t give a crap about their fellow man. As long as you have coverage why should you care about anyone else?
Clueless: 76.89% of Americans have never faced a medical catastrophe. The Reagan family will later adopt you, they are known for being against something that will help others till it hits home.
Blind: 38.1% of you follow so blindly to your party; you haven’t a clue what is reality anymore.
Greed: 52.35% of you are so greedy, heaven forbid you give back to those you have taken from.
Stupid: 48.29% believe everything you read on the Internet and to keep it simple, there is no hope for you.
So until you get sick, or are uninsured, or heaven forbid cannot afford your medicines to survive, learn to think twice, and learn to think about more then your sorry, selfish self.
