On Friday April 30th, Silly Sarah Palin updated her Facebook page with a letter titled “Domestic Drilling:  Why we can still believe”.

In the third paragraph of this letter, Sarah Palin states “Alaskans understand the tragedy of an oil spill, and we’ve taken steps to do all we can to prevent another Exxon tragedy, but we are still pro-development“.  Really Sarah?  REALLY?????

May I remind her that this spill happened 21 years ago?  For a woman to state that after 21 years we are still in pro-development in creating safety standards and protocols only means the government is only dragging its feet because they are in bed with big oil, and being paid off so these corporations can put profits before safety.

I know a lot of you are going to defend this woman to your last dying breath, but what interests me even more is an interview she had with Larry Kudrow on June 26th, 2008.  Here is an excerpt from the interview:

Kudlow: Why don’t we just liberate, and decontrol, and deregulate the whole bloody energy business – whether it’s oil, gas, shale, nuclear, coal, natural gas, as well as wind and solar – why don’t we just decontrol, deregulate, go for an America first energy policy? Get independent of Saudi Arabia? America first. Create all of these millions of high paying jobs. Why isn’t anybody talking about that in this race? That’s the natural, Reaganesque thing to do. Isn’t it?

Palin: Yeah absolutely! You’re hitting the nail right on the head. That’s what so many of us normal Americans are asking. The same thing. Why aren’t the candidates talking like that? Where we can secure America and we can be more independent when we talk about energy sources if we could drill domestically.

Again I say, REALLY SARAH, REALLY??????

How the hell can this woman state that we are in “pro-development” with safety standards and safety protocols to protect our habitats and the people of this country when she was stating in this interview she wants to deregulate and decontrol the energy sector?

Again I will ask why this woman and Senator McCain are not in the gulf cleaning up this mess they so eagerly fought and chanted for?  One thing I have learned in my life, be careful what you pray for, you may just get it.

When we put money before humanity and before the environment, this is what we will get.

BP’s 52-page exploration plan for the Deepwater Horizon well, filed with the federal Minerals Management Service, says repeatedly that it was “unlikely that an accidental surface or subsurface oil spill would occur from the proposed activities.”

And while the company conceded that a spill would impact beaches, wildlife refuges and wilderness areas, it argued that “due to the distance to shore (48 miles) and the response capabilities that would be implemented, no significant adverse impacts are expected.”

I guess Sarah Palin is right, we should deregulate and decontrol the whole energy sector; we all know they have our best interests at hand.

This is in response to a video that was posted about someone complaining that President Obama is going south to view the catastrophe caused by the oil giant British Petroleum.

This video states that Obama is the one supporting this type of IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR by the oil giants.

Let me ask many of you that supported the chant “DRILL BABY DRILL”

If your going to ignore the need for the United States to explore and move to RENEWABLE ENERGIES, why are you not protesting against these companies for not having a backup plan to stop and avoid these such disasters?

Why are there no safety protocols put in place by the oil giants to stop any type of disaster or do we not care about our environment and our only home we know as planet Earth?

If you are going to whine and complain that President Obama is going south to view this catastrophe, how come your are not demanding that Silly Sarah Palin is not going south to help clean up this mess she so promoted with such ignorance and stupidity?

You see, if your going to chant “Drill, Baby, Drill” I want to see you “Clean, Baby Clean”. You wanted this disaster – now go clean it up.

And where is McCain in all this? Why is he so silent? Walker or not, you should all demand that man go over there and help clean this up.

Let us first start out by going over the basics.  Every human needs 3 basic necessities for survival; this would be food, water, and sleep.  There are also 2 basic emotional needs each human desires.  This would be love and acceptance.  Upon these 2 factors, humans created a social circle so they could work together to survive.  As time passed, this society realized in order for them to survive, they must work together to support themselves and their children.

If we look back at the days when humanity was still in its tribal civilization, we would see that we had teachers, farmers, and medicine men.  These 3 original professions has been the driving force from mankind to go from a tribal society to a superpower.

What if, this tribal mentality never worked together?  What if this small tribal group demanded more then what the others could give to get the help to become educated, avoid starvation, or get their hands on that special herb from the medicine man so they could live?  Would we be where we are today if this small group started out with that mentality?

Look at mankind today, it looks as though they have forgotten the necessities for a society to grow and prosper.  Without a healthy workforce, there is no workforce, and without an educated workforce, there is no growth.  What if money was never invented and we kept that mindset that we had to work together for society to work the way it is supposed to, as a collaborative community?

I do not think all of the inventions were driven by the lust for money alone.  I think all these inventions and breakthroughs we have seen over the centuries were because someone took the time to try to make the journey of life just a little easier, or to help that special someone that they had loved so dearly.

Today we see the fight between capitalism and socialism which are both economic based ideals.  What if the people in this society were able to call a truce and place all necessities in one ideal and all luxuries in the other ideal?  Would man be able to move on when they learn to place humanity be profits, and profits before luxuries?

Would it be so bad for society to help the sick so they can get back on their feet so they can once again become productive members of society, or is it more important that money come before the necessity of survival and we should all become cut throat and forget what it means to work together?  Would it be so bad if we educated all the minds in society, or should we let many bright ones go to waste that may one day, make our lives just a little bit easier?

no-justice

We all see the commercials day in and day out.  We are bombarded by these commercials on how to get rich quick because you can sue.  Yes, it is quite pathetic that we as a society have become so greedy that we must have more and more, even if we really do not deserve it.  Yes I do feel that we need to reform our current system because mankind just can’t be trusted.

But have you thought about the dark side to this?  Do we not already have a judicial system in place – the people?  Sure there are greedy trial lawyers, crooked defense attorneys, but in a trial, is there not a jury of the people?

How much are you willing to give up to further the profits of corporations who probably have none of your interests at hand?  Now I am not saying all these court cases have been fair, but how many of these court cases were fair and very necessary to protect the victim?  Are you also rallying to cap the amount of money an industry can sue you for?  Look at some of the outrageous settlements that have been awarded to record industry alone for digital rights theft.

So before we all jump on board to protect the corporations, who is jumping on board to protect you?  You fear socialism, but capitalism can be just as dangerous, if not cut throat.  There needs to be a balance and I fear many of you do not understand that.  Wait till you need to go after the company that wrongs you, how much do you think you should be awarded for a lifelong disability?  What if that award is not nearly enough to cover the expense of your medical care for life, but just a few years?
