I found this video yesterday at www.defeatthedebt.com
Very interesting to say the least!!!
I looked up many the responses to this video and there were some very angry people out there because they stated they were using children to pass a political message. Many stated it was the right wing going after the current President. I did browse the site for a bit and they seemed to be quite neutral in regards to political stance.
What I find interesting about the responses I read is that many people are still very blind to the real issues that is destroying this country. The American people were blindsided by NAFTA and the excessive loss of American jobs because corporations are no longer loyal to their mother country and would rather find cheaper labor to produce and turn the United States into a nation of consumption not production.
I hear many people scream when the current administration is trying to implement a health care system that is affordable, and usable for its people.
What if NAFTA was never implemented? Would we be in this current mess we are now? The Detroit News published an interactive map a few months ago during the automotive crisis and on each state there were totals of the amount of manufacturing jobs that this country lost so they could find cheaper labor overseas. The totals were in the millions. How many more American jobs are you going to be ok with going overseas before you finally wake up and say, wait a minute, something is wrong? When is the last time you walked into any behemoth corporation and was able to choose between a product “Made in America” and “Made in China”?
I hear many scream “not out of my pocketbook” to help your fellow country men get health care in order to survive or once again become a productive member of society. I have heard many people tell others to go get a job! Where should they go to get that job? Should we all start packing up and moving to that communist country you all supposedly hate, yet, you support with every dollar you spend to get that buck savings?
Capitalism will not work without a level playing field. Nor will this nation prosper if we continue to let our jobs go overseas in areas where there is no labor laws, where there are very unsafe working conditions, and where the product you buy is tainted with chemicals and lead.
Where should the American drive be when many of you feel that it is ok for American laborers to make less money every year while the cost to survive continually goes up and up every year?
Why do you feel its ok for people to go bankrupt and not have health care, yet you continually sell out your fellow American to save a buck at your local corporate behemoth? Instead of screaming at your neighbors to get a job, why don’t you start screaming at the government to first, bring them back, but no, you just continue to buy foreign.
Enjoy your new pledge of allegiance, you deserve it!
If any of this makes sense, read what is on the following link:
http://defeatthedebt.com/understanding-the-national-debt/millions-billions-trillions/

Just 233 years ago, a few men gathered to proclaim their independence from a tyranny that controlled the 13 colonies with an iron fist. These men and women risked their life to gain their freedom, their liberty, and their independence.
For the next 100 years the children of these men and women had a drive that took these small 13 colonies and made them into the greatest nation to ever exist in known history. We seen a drive within the people to not just better themselves but strive to better all mankind. When a home was needed, the community united and helped those individuals build that home, today, we just let him lose it to the bank.
Where has this drive gone? Where is our pride in our country and our fellow man?
If those men and women had any of the issues we faced today, they would of united and fought for the fairness of every American, and not just some.
Let me ask each and every one of you a few questions:
What is the difference between the corporate rule we see today and the British rule they seen then?
Would these people that fought to give us the independence, freedom, and liberty we all enjoy today or would they accept the abuses of the free market today?

I am actually quite amazed by the comments I have seen and read from many different blogs you can find readily on the internet.
Lets go back in time a few months. I heard so many of you scream that American auto workers were making $70.00 an hour, which we all know was a lie, yet you kept screaming foul. In reality, these people were making less then $30.00 an hour, and you people had a fit knowing that someone else might be making a meager living supporting his or her spouse and children.
Then news breaks that many of our insurance company CEO’s were making millions while the companies they run are denying much needed health care to your fellow citizens, and running their companies into the ground. I cannot believe how many of you are so quick to sell out your fellow man for trying to earn a living, yet you stand and defend these outrageous multi million dollar salaries these gluttonous corporate heads make when they are economically destroying both you and your neighbors.
This is hypocrisy at its greatest. So the next time you decide that your fellow man isn’t worth the $30.00 per hour for labor, you have probably never done, just remember that CEO you defend as a GOD, he is probably not worth the millions he receives in his paycheck either.
How much health care can we provide with 3.2 Billion dollars?
Even with the high costs of health care, how many people do you think could benefit from $3.2 million dollars to pay for their very needed services?
Maybe we should ask Stephen J. Hemsley, CEO of United Health Care. You see, this man makes an approximate $100,000 per HOUR. Is any person on this earth really worth that much money per hour when people are paying outrageous health care premiums.

Say goodbye to democracy, hello to corpocracy.
