		<description><![CDATA[Today, our government has voted on repealing Don’t Ask / Don’t Tell and on the Dream Act that would pave the way for the children of illegal aliens to get citizenship. In the country that proclaims itself to be the land of the free, I find it ironic that it’s still taboo to be gay or an illegal alien, especially one that is not here by any choice of their own, but are still here because America is the only place they know. Let me begin with the gay rights issue.  Many religious and government leaders have proclaimed that accepting gays will be the destruction of the United States, while many homosexuals, who are American citizens, and where born legally in this country, are stating they deserve the same civil and equal rights every other American cherishes.  So which group is right?  Should any one group have the ability to decide whether or not a minority should or should not have rights?  I would like to think not.  Many followers of the Anti-LGBT groups (or Anti American, for lack of better words) think that these people should practice their lifestyle in the privacy of their own bedrooms and state they [...]]]></description>
