What is the reason?  The automotive industry of course! What baffles me is how people turn a blind eye when the sales reports come out and when the quality reports come out.  We still believe that our Big 3 is falling behind with our foreign competitors.  We listen to our senators who are being paid off by our foreign competitors, and we pretend that we are the only nation who has had to help their automotive industry.
