Many believe that health care should not be a right, but a privilege or a luxury, I think much differently.  If you look at the standard definition above, it states that life is a vital and functional being.  Without proper health care for many, they would in turn be dead!  Simple isn’t it?  Well maybe for some, but for others they need a little more clarification.  Here are 2 more definitions on why health care is not a privilege. 		<description><![CDATA[  I am unsure if the California Supreme Court knows this or not, but back on September 17th, 1787 our forefathers signed what we know today as The United States Constitution.  In this document were the words: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” The part I want to focus on is “We the People of the United States”.  I do not see the words straight, religious, or worthy.  If any of these words existed the constitution would read “We the STRAIGHT People of the United States”, “We the RELIGIOUS People of the United States”, or “We the WORTHY People of the United States”.  Unless I am blind, and correct me if I am wrong, I do not see these words written any where on the constitution.
